The Pain Research Forum (PRF) is an Internet-based community of researchers dedicated to translating basic neurobiology into new treatments for chronic pain.  To help bridge the gap between laboratory science and patients in need, the Harvard NeuroDiscovery Center has developed the Pain Research Forum (www.painresearchforum.org), an interactive web site dedicated to basic and translational pain research.

Competencies:

Weekly science summaries of the most important new findings
Conference coverage
Commentary from members and forum discussions
Papers of the week (recently published pain research papers)
Annotated database of genes with pain-related human data
Members and community features including job postings, meeting and event listings, and funding opportunities
